Morgan County Master Gardeners hosting tour June 14

The Ozark Prairie Master Gardeners of Morgan County will host its annual garden tour showcasing seven gardens in the Versailles and Stover area from 1-5 p.m. Sunday, June 14.
Some of the gardens feature herbs and their uses, floral design, vegetable gardening, landscape gardening, secret gardens, forest glades, shade gardens and whimsical gardening.
At some of the gardens there will be demonstrations of garden art, gourd art, irrigation techniques, birdhouses, one with 300 hummingbirds and a sand-casting demonstration.
Refreshments will be available at a garden between Stover and Versailles for your convenience.
The Master Gardeners operate under the auspices of the University of Missouri Extension. The garden tour is the organization's only fundraising event. Proceeds go to support educational projects and community service projects including the community garden in Versailles.
